How to Dispute a Charge on Walmart MoneyCard

Taking the steps outlined below will increase your chance of a successful resolution of your issue and help you get your money back into your account.
See our post on the top complaints about the Walmart MoneyCard.
Do This Before You Call Customer Service
Before you call Walmart MoneyCard Customer Service, make sure the transaction you are disputing is indeed unauthorized.
Make sure you did not make that purchase. Here is how to find out:
Investigate Merchant Name and Location
First, investigate the merchant name and location to be sure that this is not a transaction you actually made that is showing up differently on your account.
Merchant names or locations for transactions may not look familiar. Many merchants use their corporate or headquarters information instead of the particular store where you made the purchase.
Be Sure About Transaction Status
Second, there may also be a delay in the posted date of the transaction.
This means that a transaction you may have completed days or weeks ago may finally be posting to your account.
These are normal business practices. If the amount and date of the purchase are accurate, that may show that it was a purchase you actually made.
If you are not sure about whether you made a particular purchase or not, you can request a written history of your transactions at any time by writing to Walmart MoneyCard at:
Written History Request
P.O. Box 1187
Monrovia, California 91017
You may also call customer service to request a written transaction history at 1-(877)937-4098.

were going to cut to the chase, Green Dot /Wal-mart money card held my funds for 1 month so Verizon phone not paid due to hostage of my funds as the phone number associated with login missed 1st day of college online classes, customer NOT SERVICE laughed at me, I called 25 times and sent me to technical w/3 day bullshit time to get back to me, denied me access to supervisors again on 11-12-2021
I was given a text message of a purchase i made online, and it seemed higher then i thought it should be. I felt like i might have been scammed, so wanted to put a stop payment on the charge (as it is still pending). I had no one to talk to when i called support to help me along on this, and the automated system just told me to write in about it, so basically i have no way to stop a suspect payment before it completes?!
I had transactions that i didnt make which were still pendinng. They informed me to let the transactions go through before i could dispute them, which i did. However after i disputed all claims, walmart money card denied my claims, which shows me they never did a proper investigation. I have been with them for 5 yrs and never had a problem up until now and now they want refund my money thats over $600. I will advise no one to ever use these guys again because they have no loyalty to there customers.

EVERY TIME THEY TRANSFER ME OVER TO THE DISPUTE TEAM IT ALWAYS HANGDS UP AND I EVER GET TO TALK TO THEM.
My card was stolen and within an hour and a half i disfovered that nearly 1,300 dollars of perchases on ebay and amazon had been made! I called for help with this issue many timed, some right away. After absurd amounts of hold time, a person would come on. I explained my issue to each. The connections we so static i couldnt undetdtand what they were saying. They sais they were going to transfer me to someone to help. Then, i was disconnected. EVERY TIME! I had to start over with the automated dystem...hold time...person came on....transfer....hang up on me! Cant get anywhere with the websight either. Ive been robbed of a large amount of money and cant get any help. They hang up on me. They could care less! What am i supposed to do?
I have called the dispute line numerous times and gotten tranferred only to be put on hold for at least 45 min. I have even been put on hold for an hr. I have tried reaching resolving this at least 6-7 times by calling. Got hung up on once and even a lady said she could help me get it taken care of. But nothing was ever filed. I am frustrated beyond words. How does one get a disoute taken care of?
