Before you buy a MoneyPak, Check that the prepaid or bank debit card you are using accepts MoneyPak. This is an important step because once you buy MoneyPak, you cannot return it and get your money back.
MoneyPak can be used with most prepaid and bank debit cards, but it is important to check first to make sure your card is eligible.

Step 1 – Visit the MoneyPak Eligibility Website
The first step is to visit the MoneyPak prepaid card eligibility website. Click here to be taken there.
Step 2 – Enter your Prepaid/Debit Card Number
Once there, enter the first 9 digits of your Prepaid or Bank Debit Card in the space provided (as shown below) and click “CHECK ELIGIBILITY” to continue.
Card Eligible with MoneyPak
If your Prepaid or Debit Card is eligible to be used with MoneyPak, you will receive a message like the one below.
This means that if you purchase a MoneyPak, you can add funds from it to your Prepaid or Debit Card.
Click on “DEPOSIT TO CARD” once you get your MoneyPak to continue the process of adding money to your Prepaid or Debit Card.

Personal Information
The first time you use a MoneyPak, you will need to go to MoneyPak.com to create a secure login.
First, personal information is required when setting up a MoneyPak.com secure log-in for identity verification purposes.
To create a secure login, you will be asked to provide some personal information, including:
- Your Name
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Email Address
- Mailing Address
In certain cases, customers may be asked to provide a copy of a valid U.S. ID.
Have a Valid Mobile Phone and Email Address
Second, you must also be able to use the internet, have a working email address.

MoneyPak Age and Citizenship/Residency Requirements
To buy and use MoneyPak, you must be at least 18 years old, and a citizen or a legal alien residing in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.

MoneyPak Fees

Can I purchase Green Dot MoneyPak online?
No, you cannot purchase MoneyPak online.

No, you cannot use MoneyPak to reload temporary cards.

Can I add MoneyPak to my bank account?
You cannot transfer money directly from MoneyPak to your bank account, however, you can add money to your bank account from MoneyPak through an eligible bank debit card.

Who accepts Green Dot MoneyPak?
You cannot use MoneyPak to make purchases in person, online, or over the phone.
