Before you buy a MoneyPak, Check that the prepaid or bank debit card you are using accepts MoneyPak. This is an important step because once you buy MoneyPak, you cannot return it and get your money back.

Step 1 – Visit the MoneyPak Eligibility Website
The first step is to visit the MoneyPak prepaid card eligibility website. Click here to be taken there.
Step 2 – Enter your Prepaid/Debit Card Number
Once there, enter the first 9 digits of your Prepaid or Bank Debit Card in the space provided (as shown below) and click “CHECK ELIGIBILITY” to continue.
Card Eligible with MoneyPak
If your Prepaid or Debit Card is eligible to be used with MoneyPak, you will receive a message like the one below.
This means that if you purchase a MoneyPak, you can add funds from it to your Prepaid or Debit Card.
Click on “DEPOSIT TO CARD” once you get your MoneyPak to continue the process of adding money to your Prepaid or Debit Card.
Card Not Eligible with MoneyPak

Here’s what you need to know about MoneyPak before you buy one.
The first time you use a MoneyPak, you will need to go to MoneyPak.com to create a secure login.
First, personal information is required when setting up a MoneyPak.com secure log-in for identity verification purposes.
To create a secure login, you will be asked to provide some personal information, including:
- Your Name
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Email Address
- Mailing Address
In certain cases, customers may be asked to provide a copy of a valid U.S. ID.
Have a Valid Mobile Phone and Email Address
Second, you must also be able to use the internet, have a working email address.
Furthermore, you must consent to receive text messages on your mobile phone, which is part of the signup verification process.
MoneyPak Age and Citizenship/Residency Requirements
To buy and use MoneyPak, you must be at least 18 years old, and a citizen or a legal alien residing in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.
Personalized Prepaid or Debit Card
You can only deposit money onto an eligible, activated prepaid or bank debit card through MoneyPak.com.
Prepaid cards must be personalized with the cardholder’s name.
You will be charged a $5.95 purchase fee when you buy a MoneyPak at a retail location.
You can only use cash to buy a MoneyPak.
Also, you must deposit funds within 30 days of purchase of a MoneyPak, otherwise, a $5.95 monthly fee will apply to unused funds.

Can I purchase Green Dot MoneyPak online?
No, you cannot purchase MoneyPak online.

No, you cannot use MoneyPak to reload temporary cards.
Temporary cards are cards that have not been registered with the card provider (or where registration was not properly completed).
In addition, temporary cards do not have the cardholder’s name on the front.
If you have a new card without your name on it, you must register it on your card provider’s website to be able to use that card with MoneyPak.

You cannot transfer money directly from MoneyPak to your bank account, however, you can add money to your bank account from MoneyPak through an eligible bank debit card.

Who accepts Green Dot MoneyPak?
You cannot use MoneyPak to make purchases in person, online, or over the phone.
