AccountNow’s Online Bill Pay is a service that allows you to send money from your prepaid account, electronically or by paper check, to anyone within the United States.
Your AccountNow online account gives you the ability to:

- Set up recurring payments – your bills will be taken out and paid each month
- Send checks to friends or family
Electronic and Check Bill Pay (non-expedited service) is available at no charge; however, fees will apply for expedited requests.
Direct Deposit
Direct deposit is a service that allows you to authorize your employer or benefits provider to electronically send your pay directly to your AccountNow prepaid account.
One of the features we like about the AccountNow direct deposit function is the ability to get paid up to 2 days faster.
Here’s how it works:
Once you set up Direct Deposit with your Employer or Benefits Provider, AccountNow will process deposits as soon as they are received – which may be up to 2 days faster than you would normally receive a check from your employer or benefits provider.
Here’s how to set up your AccountNow Direct Deposit:
- Ask your employer or benefits provider if direct deposit is available.
- Login to your AccountNow prepaid account and click the ‘Add Money’ tab.
- Click your paycheck type and follow the instructions on the next page
Send Money (Person-to-Person Transfers)
If someone you know has an AccountNow prepaid card too, you can send them money from your prepaid account for free.
You can send up to $300 a day from your prepaid card to another AccountNow prepaid card.
However, you can increase your limit to $500 a day when you upgrade to AccountNow Gold Prepaid card and participate in Direct Deposit.
The recipient can receive money from any AccountNow cardholder, but the total deposits cannot exceed $300/day ($500/day for Gold members), $3,000/month, or more than 3 times per day.

Step 1: Visit the AccountNow Site
Click here to go to the AccountNow Prepaid Card Website.
Step 2: Activate Card
Once you are on the website, click on the “ACTIVATE CARD” link as shown in the image below.
Step 3: Complete Activation Process
You will be taken to a page like the one below where you will be asked to provide the following information to create an online account:
- 16 digit AccountNow card number
- CVV code on the back of your card
After you have successfully entered the information, click the “Submit” button to activate your AccountNow Prepaid debit card.
